Varicose veins of lower extremity diagnostic criteria

Simple diagnosis of varicose veins of lower extremity is not difficult, according to the diagnostic criteria of clinical practice summed up as follows. 1. Have a long standing history and the increased abdominal pressure, or a family history of varicose veins of lower extremity. 2. Patients with lower extremity venous obvious tortuous expansion, standing at more obvious. 3. Deep vein patency, the great saphenous venous insufficiency may have traffic of venous insufficiency. 4. Doppler ultrasound or venous angiography showed great saphenous vein tortuous expansion valve insufficiency. 5. Can be accompanied by pigmentation, ulceration, superficial phlebitis thrombosis, bleeding, ulcers and other complications.
